“International Workshop on Quality Education for Pre primary and Primary Teachers”

“International Workshop on Quality Education for Preprimary and Primary Teachers” was held from August 4th to 13th, 2023, at the SAIIHE Residential Training Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Maldivian and Sri Lankan Teachers participated in this workshop. During the workshop, they visited so many Sri Lankan schools and the open university of Sri Lanka. They observed the classrooms and ways of teaching in Sri Lankan schools. Model lessons for children, interactive sessions with teachers, cultural performances, and discussions with prefects were held during the school visits. They visited the Early Childhood Development Centre of the open university, and an academic discussion was held with the dean and academic staff of the Faculty of Education at the open university.
Cultural programs were held every evening at the “Open air theatre.”.
All Maldivian educators had a good time shopping in Sri Lanka. Finally, all Maldivians took a three-day tour of Sri Lanka’s hill country.
