Entrance Test & Interview
DSU Ph.D. Entrance Test (Written Exam): Number of Sections: 2, Marks: 100 (50 marks each) Duration: 2 hours (60 minutes each), Mode of Exam: Online Section 1: Research Methodology. Type: Objective questions. Section 2: Specialization subject based on school/department chosen by the candidate.
Interview:
Shortlisted candidates are required to attend in-person panel interview. Evaluation will be based on the candidate’s domain knowledge, understanding of relevant literature, and awareness of current research trends in the chosen domain. Selection is based on performance in the Entrance Test and Interview conducted by an expert panel. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required to qualify.
Final selection is based on the rank list prepared from the combined performance in both Entrance Test and Interview. (70% weightage for the entrance test and 30% for the performance in the interview).
