02. Problem Statement

  • The global knowledge landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by significant scientific and technological advancements. In response, children must develop multidisciplinary skills to navigate the challenges of an increasingly complex global society. However, the current education system faces significant challenges in effectively addressing the needs of this dynamic environment.

  • To bridge the gap between the current state of learning outcomes and the demands of the future, substantial reforms are required to ensure the highest standards of quality, equity, and integrity within the educational systemโ€”from early childhood care and education to higher education. The lack of collaboration and international forums among countries significantly hinders the implementation of these necessary reforms.

  • The STREAM education approach, designed to equip children with 21st-century skills and prepare them for a rapidly changing world, has not been effectively implemented in many classrooms. Curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment and evaluation systems in schools have not been upgraded at the pace required to align with STEAM principles and evolving global demands.

  • Moreover, there is an urgent need to enhance teacher empowerment and capacity-building mechanisms for educators and educational leaders to better meet the needs of a rapidly evolving society. The lack of motivation among educators for research and innovation limits the development of new strategies and solutions to address existing challenges and improve the quality of education.

  • Additionally, there is a dearth of international platforms where educators can share best practices, research findings, and innovative ideas aimed at improving the quality of education. The valuable contributions of educators and the excellence demonstrated by schools are not adequately recognized or evaluated on global platforms.

03. Vision:

โ€œEnhance the quality of early childhood, primary, and secondary education by empowering STREAM education, employability skills, entrepreneurship skills, green education, and mindfulness to build multi-talented global citizens with 21st-century skills and spiritual well-being.โ€

04. Mission:

Our mission is to empower all educational stakeholders to equip children with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world, fostering their 21st-century competencies, spiritual well-being, and the long-term sustainability of individuals, nations, and the global society. We are committed to establishing strong international platforms and networks that elevate the quality of education by promoting STREAM education, employability, entrepreneurship, green education, and mindfulness. Through these collaborative efforts, we recognize and honour excellence in performance and service while promoting knowledge sharing to continuously uplift the standards of global education.โ€

05. Objectives:

  • To establish international platforms and networks that empower educatorsโ€”including teachers, principals, and educational leadersโ€”in implementing STREAM education.

  • To create international platforms and networks for exchanging best practices, research findings, and innovative ideas to promote STREAM education within the school system.

  • To create international platforms and networks for the capacity development of teachers and educators in the following areas: early childhood and school curriculum development, teaching-learning methodologies (pedagogical approaches), assessment and evaluation systems, capacity building for educators, leadership and school management, special education, green education, quality standards in education, research and innovation in education, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in education.
  • To develop international platforms and networks for sharing best practices in fostering employability, entrepreneurship, green education, and mindfulness in schools, addressing the challenges of modern society.

  • To establish international platforms and networks for sharing best practices, research findings, and innovative ideas to equip children with 21st-century skills and promote their spiritual well-being. (Spiritual well-being is understood not as any particular religious or spiritual practice but as the overall quality of human existence.)

  • To recognize and honor the dedicated contributions of educators for their innovations, research findings, sharing of best practices, and unwavering commitment to quality education.

  • To acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of schools for their educational leadership, innovations, and contributions to advancing quality education.

06. Themes of the Conference

  • Curriculum Development: Enhancing school curricula by integrating STREAM education, employability skills, entrepreneurship, green education, and mindfulness.

  • Innovative Teaching Practices: Advancing teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches to foster critical thinking and creativity in STREAM-related disciplines.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Strengthening assessment and evaluation systems to more effectively measure student outcomes in STREAM education, employability, and entrepreneurial competencies.

  • Teacher Capacity Building: Empowering educators through continuous professional development to effectively implement STREAM education and promote green and mindful practices.

  • Leadership and Management: Strengthening school leadership and management capabilities to support the adoption of STREAM education and related initiatives.

  • Quality Standards and Accreditation: Enhancing the quality and standards of educational institutions through the integration of STREAM education and innovative practices.

  • Research and Innovation: Promoting research and innovation to drive evidence-based practices in STREAM education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Encouraging partnerships with corporate entities to implement CSR initiatives that support STREAM education and holistic student development.

  • Technological Transformation in Education
Artificial Intelligence, digital resources, TPACK classrooms, ERP systems, and many other technological tools are being implemented in education.

The conference provides a prestigious international platform for global leaders in education to present their expertise, share best practices, and contribute to the advancement of education standards. It offers a unique opportunity for all participants to forge international connections and collaborate in empowering their schools and institutions to achieve excellence in education.

The conference is limited to 100 educators, with selection based on early registration, qualifications, and professional experience.

Curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment and evaluation systems in schools have not been upgraded at the pace required to align with STREAM principles and evolving global demands.

04. Mission:

โ€œOur mission is to empower all educational stakeholders to equip children with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world, fostering their 21st-century competencies, spiritual well-being, and the long-term sustainability of individuals, nations, and the global society.

L 01 – Stress Management for Effective Leadership

L02 – Transformative Leadership for Quality Education

L03 – How to be a highly effective team for Quality Education

L04 – Be a Highly Effective Teacher for Quality Education

All lectures are conducted free of charge. All educators may join the sessions live or watch the recorded videos later to enhance their competencies for professional development. We encourage all educators to engage with every presentation and make the most of this valuable opportunity to strengthen their knowledge with international expertise.

Participants who wish to earn certificates, medals, awards, or other professional qualifications must complete all assessment and evaluation requirements by successfully fulfilling the assigned tasks.

When teachers/educators from government schools in Sri Lanka follow these lecture series, if their school principals or senior officers agree to act as the supervisors and assessors for their staff members, those government teachers/educators can complete the assessment process. However, they must still submit the application form, and the supervisor must submit the continuous assessment sheet.

Many educators wish to follow the lecture series and obtain certificates. Since they are located across different geographical regions of the world, technological integration becomes a powerful and convenient tool for easy access. Therefore, the Sri Lanka Education Management System has been adopted for the assessment and evaluation process. By using your username and password, you can log in to the ERP system and access all assessments, question papers, and learning materials required to qualify for international certificates and other professional benefits.

If educators wish to submit assignments through the digital platform and learn with the support and guidance of the Education Management System (EMS), it is recommended that they obtain access to the EMS.

If you would like to use the SL Education Management System for quality improvement, please submit your details through: https://www.iafqe.org/ems.

To access the digital platform, simply log in using your username and password.
